With God’s grace and your support, students are rising as leaders and changing lives across the globe.

Just last month in Burundi, a life was saved because a student put the training they received through our local LIFE Team – Ngozi, into action.

*side note: Ngozi means blessing or God’s blessing or God’s favor. It represents gratitude and divine blessing, often given to children as a sign of joy and heritage. The name is commonly used for both females and males. 

Angeline’s Story

Angeline,18 and boyfriend, 21, both students at Gika High School, were overwhelmed when they discovered an unexpected pregnancy.

Terrified of school sanctions and rejection from their community, they felt trapped and decided abortion was their only option.

Angeline’s boyfriend reached out to a classmate and asked to borrow 300,000 Burundian francs to pay for the abortion. The classmate hesitated, then asked what the money was needed for…

That simple question changed everything.

That classmate had received pro-life training through our LIFE Team – Ngozi. A training that was made possible by your generosity.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, he immediately alerted the leader of the LIFE Team, and they promptly went to the school to meet with the young couple.

With compassion and patience, they listened to their fears, offered emotional support, and helped facilitate communication with the school administration and with both families.

Through prayer and trust in God’s loving plan, the young couple ultimately found the courage to choose life for their unborn child.

What began in fear was transformed by love, faith, and community, and a life was saved, a family was restored and a generation was strengthened!
