Lifesavers are Being Mobilized in Pakistan

One story, just weeks ago in Ngozi, Burundi, reminded us exactly why this mission matters so much.

During an outreach at a local high school, a student told our team that her classmate was pregnant and planning an abortion. Terrified and feeling completely alone, she spoke a with local pharmacist about obtaining the abortion pills. He promised to give her them, but she didn’t have the money. At the very moment of our outreach, she was in the process of trying to get the money for the abortion pills. 

I know it’s late, but I’m dropping you a note because one of our team members, Kainey, just caught a flight to India.

On November 15th, a few countries were conspicuously absent from the gathering of EU and African, Caribbean and Pacific nations (ACP-EU) to sign a new partnership agreement. One of these was Nigeria.
