Bose’s Story — She’s So Grateful She Chose Life
Back in May, Bose, a young girl from Kaduna, reached out to our Nigerian national leader, Yusuf, in crisis and considering abortion. Yusuf met with her, counseled her with compassion, and encouraged her to choose life.
Even though her boyfriend refused to support her and the relationship ended, Bose made the courageous decision to give her 6-month-old baby a chance. She asked Yusuf to promise that he would not abandon her, and trusting in God’s provision, he assured her he would walk with her every step of the way.
By the grace of God, Bose gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Tuesday! Though the family is still working to cover hospital bills, Bose sent Yusuf a joyful message right after delivery: “Glory be to God, the baby is here! Thank you also for the encouragement and support from day one. God will reward you mightily in Jesus’ name.”
This testimony shows the transforming power of hope and presence. Because someone stood with her, Bose chose life—and now she is cherishing her beautiful son.
A Teen Saved by Love and Truth
Our second story comes shortly after our August practicum in Kaduna. A parent contacted Pastor Ishaya, another one of our Nigerian leaders, deeply concerned about their daughter, who was pregnant and hiding her struggle. Pastor Ishaya reached out to her, and through a loving and compassionate counseling session, the young girl was empowered to choose life for her baby.
And this is just the beginning—since the practicum, four other women have also chosen life, thanks to the faithful outreach of Pastor Ishaya and the growing support of the new LIFE Teams now being established in Kaduna.
